Summer Fun

We have been having a nice summer this far into it..today we spent a few hours at the lake not to far from our town. I told the kids to invite a couple of friend, we packed up the van with towels, floaties, food and took off.
While at the lake we built a trench, played chicken, played marco polo,searched and found tadpoles, dug up some clay and had a picnic lunch. Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE MY FAMILY....spending time and making memories..one goal of mine for the summer.
I loved listening to the kids play and interact with their friends. I have to say the girls were way louder than the guys. Time well spent on a sunny afternoon...
